my obsessive hobby changes quite frequently (thank you, undiagnosed adhd) and right now, it's film photography. i know, digital has its place - i take photos of birds a LOT and those buggers move so fast that being able to take a digital burst of shots makes a lot more sense than aiming a cheap 1980s point and shoot film camera at them and hoping for the best.

but it's film that i love above all else. i love that you can take the same photos on different cameras and different film stocks and end up with totally, wildly different images of the same thing. i love the light leaks and the focus shenanigans and that anticipation you get when you send off your roll to be developed.
